Born in the Coal Region of north central Pennsylvania. He attended Parochial Schools and
graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School Coal Township, Pennsylvania. During his last year in high school, he joined the U.S. Navy (Seabees) and left for bootcamp
immediately after graduation. There he served with pride participating in the Panama
Campaign and attaining the rank of E-4 (Petty Officer 3 rd Class). After an Honorable Discharge,
he attended Penn State University majoring in History/Political Science with a concentration on International Intertextual relations. After leaving college, he worked as a supervisor for several international companies on multi-million-dollar projects focused on nuclear, coal, and gas fired power plants. During this time, he became interested in immigration when a friend asked him to help him navigate the U.S Immigration system. After a number of years doing this, a chance encounter with the director of Compass Immigration Legal Services put him on a path to become a volunteer paralegal after retiring from the power industry. Today, he is an Accredited Immigration Representative registered with the U.S. Department of Justice.
